For those hip-hop heads that have been waiting for the next release from the St. Lunatic’s Nelly, look no further than November 25th. Nelly will be releasing a remix album titled “Da Derrty Versions (The Reinvention)” featuring some of his biggest hits and a few new songs as well. Although Nelly’s first single is a new song to the public, it isn’t to him.
“Iz U’ is an older song that I completed, but never put out,” says the St. Louis native. “So, before I put it on this album, I did it over a little differently”. Nelly’s first single “Iz U” produced by the Basement Beats which is comprised of Wally Yaghnam and Jayson “Jay E” Epperson, is currently gaining ground on the Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip Hop Singles & Tracks and has become the #1 most added song on the radio. Guest appearances on the album are E-40, Ronald Isley, David Banner, The Clipse and 106 & Park Freestyle Winner the Postaboy. Nelly is also gearing up for a limited European tour that kicks off early November. www.nelly.net
