With his new album “Preacher’s Son” scheduled to hit stores on November 4th, Wyclef has decided to give his fans a sneak peek at what his album will be like. Wyclef Jean will be performing two free performances in New York on October 16th, beginning in the middle of Times Square (Broadway and 42nd Street) at noon.
Although the mid day performance will only be one or two songs, Wyclef will be performing a full concert at the Roseland Ballroom sponsored in part by LG Mobile Phones. LG Mobile is assisting in the events to promote their new LG VX6000 camera phone. The tickets for the evening concert will be given away on New York’s Hot 97 radio station and online at Lgmobilephones.com. Guest appearances on the “Preacher’s Son” will be done by Carlos Santana (on Three Nights in Rio De Janerio”), Redman (on “Baby Daddy”), Patti Labelle (on “Celebration”) and Missy Elliott who appears on the hot song “Party to Damascus”.
