Jay-Z is taking his partnership with Duracell one step further by appearing in an advertisement for its Powermat shot at his 40/40 Club.
The commercial follows a man as he goes through his day and charges his phone on the company’s new charging device. He arrives at the 40/40 Club and picks up a phone on the table when it rings, only to have Jay-Z swoop in an intercept the call, which is from his wife Beyonce.
“I believe in the future of wireless energy and I believe that Duracell Powermat is the company to bring on the revolution,” said Hov in a prior press release. “I’m partnering with Duracell Powermat because they’re providing the solutions for the future.”
