Is Phil Knight, the CEO of Nike out to steal from Russell Simmons? Russell Simmons believes so. Simmons says that Phil Nike also known as Phil Knight, has sent executive headhunters to Phat Farm Footwear Company to try and steal his employees for his own 11 billion dollar Nike company.

According to the NY Post the headhunter has obtained the personal cell phone numbers of employees to set up meetings with them. “Phil Nike should not get in a fight with me!” Russell Simmons shouted at his 43rd-floor headquarters. “He can kiss my a—. No one ever heard of him in the ghetto. No one ever heard of him in the trailer parks, either, for that matter.”

Simmons and his brother Rev. Run have created a separate sneaker line under the Phat Farm label that has been taking a piece of the market that Nike has consistently done well in. Scott Reames, a Nike spokesman said, “We’re always looking for talented people. I assume they have their talented folks locked up with noncompete clauses. It’s flattering that Russell Simmons is paying so close attention to us.”
