One half of the hip-hop duo, Noreaga also known as Victor Santiago may be spending more time with a judge then he hoped for. Last week New York City police officers pulled over N.O.R.E’s SUV in the East Village after they received a report of some waving a gun in the air and leaving in and SUV that matched his.
According to MTV, the police officers did not find a gun but a bag of marijuana and a joint. N.O.R.E and his four passengers including Tragedy Khadafi were arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession. There was no gun found in the SUV during the search of the vehicle. The misdemeanor possession charge carries maximum sentence of three months in jail.
N.O.R.E has had previous run ins with the law including an arrest for smoking weed in a car, attempted murder (for which he served time for as a teenager in the early 1990’s) and assault of a fan which he was found not guilty.
