LL Cool J is going from movies and music to showing off some of hip-hop’s hottest customized cars. Power 105.1(WWPR) and LL Cool J have teamed up to present the “Custom Car Show 2003” on October 4-5 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. At the car show hundreds of customized celebrities cars will be on display for everyone to see from 10amto 5pm each day as well as the newest rims, tires and car electronics to hit the market.

“I have always had a deep passion for cars and as a result I’m thrilled to be associated with the first ever Power 105.1 & LL Cool J Custom Car Show 2003,” LL Cool J said. “Now more than ever there is a synergy between hip hop artists and manufacturers of car accessories. I am proud to be a partner with Power 105.1 for this venture and equally excited to be doing this in New York where I grew up. “Several of those hip-hop artists that will be donating their car for the event are LL Cool J, Wyclef Jean, 50 Cent, LilKim, DMX, Marley Marl and SwizzBeatz. Ed Lover and Dr. Dre, Big Tigger with DJ Red Alert, Tony Touch and DJ Kut will also be among several of the DJ’s that will also be on hand. Musical performances for the weekend will be Fat Joe & The Terror Squad, Erick Sermon, Keith Murray, Drag On and many more. Tickets for the event are available through Ticketmaster and the Nassau Coliseum.
