Reflection Eternal’s DJ Hi-Tek will release his debut album, Hi-Teknology, this year. The album has been confirmed for a May 15 release date on Rawkus Records and will feature appearances from Talib Kweli, Common, Mos Def, Slum Village, Vinia Mojica, and a possible track with Snoop Dogg.
The album is the second installment of the Beat Generation Series which features solo albums from some of today’s hottest producers.
The first installment of the series came from producer, Jay Dee and his album, Welcome 2 Detroit. Other producers in the Beat Generation include Pete Rock, DJ Spinna, Marley Marl, 88 Keys, Jazzy Jeff, ?uestlove, James Poyser & Vikter Duplaix, Karriem Riggins and King Britt.
