Planning to spread their message world wide, on August 1st the first ever Birmingham Heritage Youth Empowerment Hip-Hop Summit will descend on Birmingham, Alabama. The Summit will work towards providing youth with the knowledge, strategies and resources that will be able to mobilize and empower those that wish to better themselves and their community. The three-day music festival will feature a parade in downtown Birmingham, a Town Hall meeting on the issue of AIDS , a gospel revival, nightly afterparties and many other events. Artists scheduled to perform are Lil Jon and the Eastside Boys, David Banner, Lil Wayne, Killer Mike, T.I., Baby, Juvenile, Boo and Gotti, Turk, Floetry, and many more. On August 2nd Cash Money’s on Baby also known as The Birdman is showcasing “Baby’s Car Show and Babes” at the Alabama State Fair RaceTrack. With a chance to win cash prizes or a slot in Baby’s next music video(for the girls), there will be a car show, artist showcase and a swimsuit competition. Admission is $15.00.
