After all the trials, lawsuits and baby mama drama, Sean “P.Diddy” Combs is going back to the courthouse again. Former business partner Kirk Burrowes has filed a civil racketeering lawsuit against P. Diddy who he says once threatened him with a bat and possibly cheated him out of $25 million dollars.
Burrowes who was once president of Bad Boy Records alleges Diddy burst into his office in 1996 and threatened him with a bat to sign over his 25% share of the company. Burrowes allegedly signed it over to Diddy who he says later apologized and promised to return his shares. Burrowes said he had a hand in helping get Bad Boy started in 1992, which is why he gained 25% of the company. “Kirk just wants Sean to realize the value he had in making Sean what he is today and to do the right thing,” said John Bostany, Burrowes’ lawyer told the NY Daily News.
But when served with this lawsuit, a spokesman for Bad Boy said the lawsuit is an “absolute fantasy” by an employee who was fired trying to make some money. “If it wasn’t so funny, it would receive a Pulitzer Prize for fiction”, the spokesman continued. In other P.Diddy news you can check him out on Wednesday night at 10:00pm on “Making the Band 2”.
