On October 12 at 10pm EST, HipHopDX (@HipHopDX) will be hosting a live Twitter chat with Hip Hop painter Justin BUA (@JustinBUA) and iconic turntablists DJ Q-Bert (@DJQBert) and Mix Master Mike (@M1XMASTERM1KE). The chat will promote BUA’s November book, The Legends of Hip-Hop, an artistic look at dozens of crucial pioneers and torch-carriers within the culture.
Mix Master Mike and Q-Bert were founding members of deejay collective Invizibl Skratch Piklz, which included a number of DMC champions. While Mike has become a longtime affiliate/tour deejay of the Beastie Boys, Q-Bert has educated on turntablism and worked with the likes of DJ Shadow and others.
