Method Man is working on his upcoming solo album Crystal Meth, but says that it’s going to take some time to cook up. Speaking with The Hip Hop Chronicle UK, the Wu-Tang Clan swordsman said fans will have to wait to get a better product.

“Still working. I’m taking my time,” he said. “Fuck that, I don’t care what nobody say or think. I’m taking my time with this one, and it’s gonna be like a fine wine, baby.”

He describes the album as a harkening back to his 1994 debut Tical and its 1998 sequel Tical 2000: Judgement Day. “Falling back to the first album and the second album, the darker element of Meth, but with a twist on it,” he continued. “I can’t exactly tell you exactly what it is because I don’t want people biting me before I do it.”

The “twist” has something to do with his writing technique, which he claims no one has done before. “It definitely has a twist to it. I have a new technique of writing that no one has really touched on but it’s right there for them to pick up.”
