It was reported on New York City hip-hop radio station Hot 97-FM that Brando a.k.a. Robin Hood of the rap group Sporty Thievz was killed in a car accident.
While details remain very sketchy, the tragic accident reportedly occurred somewhere in New York and was the result of a car jumping a curb and striking Brando. Radio personality Miss Jones made the somber announcement this morning on the “Morning Show” with fellow hosts Star and Buc Wild.
The Sporty Thievz, which also includes King Kirk a.k.a. Thieven Stealberg and Big Dubez a.k.a. Safecracker, released their debut album, Street Cinema, in 1998 on Sony/ Columbia. After enjoying a hit single with “No Pigeons”, the group re-released Street Cinema in 1999 to include the track.
