Legendary New York emcee Raekwon has just announced a massive North American tour that will see him making stops across the United States and Canada. After just wrapping up a European jaunt Rae seems to be forgoing rest and hitting the road again, hard. This tour will see him visit more than thirty cities
Rae spoke with XXL.com recently about his intentions for this upcoming grip of dates, saying, “For me, no matter how long you’ve been in the game, there’s still nothing like rocking out in from of thousands of fans that you know have been supporting you since day one. Every city is different. We’re gonna do stuff from the new album, classics and I got a few surprises for them. Overall, this is going to be a great show.”
The tour is in support of the Chef’s most recent studio effort, Shaolin Vs. Wu-Tang, which dropped in March. That record, which was distributed by Rae’s own Ice H2O label and EMI, features guest spots from his Wu partners Ghostface Killah, Method Man, and Inspectah Deck, as well as verses from Rick Ross, Nas, Black Thought, and more.
