Fans of New York’s Beatminerz crew are in crazy luck. The famous underground Production squad is finally releasing a comp. album, and the line-up is bananas. Known for being the production wizards behind the Boot Camp Clik’s trademark eerie sound, the Beatminerz feature DJ Evil Dee (c’mon kick it!), Mr. Walt, Baby Paul, and lesser-known but no less talented members Chocolate Ty and Rich Blak.
The guest line-up for the album is plain silly. Holding down the underground will be Freddie Foxx, Krumbsnatcha, Kweli, Pete Rock, Apani B and two of the world’s best emcees: Last emperor and What What. Xzibit, Tash, Ras Kass, Royce Da 5-9, MOP, Black Moon and Cocoa Brovas will also appear on the album, which is due out next month.
