While the rumored Eminem and Dr. Dre performance has been touted as this year’s Grammy surprise, Cee Lo Green may just have some surprises of his own. Cee Lo will take the stage at the event, which will be held on February 13 in Los Angeles’ Staples Center, joined by a cast of characters.
According to several reports, Gwyneth Paltrow will be on stage as Cee Lo performs his hit, “Fuck You,” although many have presumed that Green will instead perform the censored “Forget You.”
Aside from the A lister Paltrow, Cee Lo will also be joined by a group of puppets from the New York theater show Stuffed and Unstrung. Muppet creator Jim Henson’s son Brian will supply the puppets.
“We have a live theater show in New York called ‘Stuffed and Unstrung,’ and we’ve taken a bunch of the characters from that cast and made them into a band and backup singers for Cee-Lo,” Henson told MTV. “He’ll be backed by puppets who will make up a very weird and cool band.”

Henson went on to promise an “unforgettable” version of the song, also saying what a pleasure it was to work with Cee Lo.
“We had never worked with him before, and he’s just a fabulous guy,” Henson added. “I think he’s a lifelong fan of the Muppets, and he had a pretty good idea of what he wanted … I think it will really be an unforgettable version of the song.”
“Fuck You” and its edited counterpart, appeared on Cee Lo Green’s November, 2010 album The Lady Killer. The album was named HipHopDX’s “Best Non-Hip Hop Album of 2010.”
