While Waka Flocka Flame may not be the most lyrically revered rapper in the game, the young artist has received love from places other than Hip Hop. He recently scored a reality show with fellow rapper Gucci Mane, and even managed to peak in the Top 30 on the Billboard Pop chart. Now, the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has reached out to him for their “Ink Not Mink” campaign.
The infamous campaign helps to bring focus to animal mistreatment, and features nude celebrities choosing body art over animal furs. Waka Flocka will join artists like Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, and P!nk, who are also involved in the risque campaign.
“Animals should be treated the same way as you would a kid,” said Waka Flocka to XXL. “Would you want someone just to walk up and skin your kid? Hell no!”
The “Ink Not Mink” campaign launches on February 22.
