In support of a good cause P.Diddy, Usher and Alicia Keys are going to South Africa.
To support and headline a concert in Capetown, South Africa to benefit World Aids Day. The contest, which will be held on December 1st will also be broadcast nationwide on MTV the same day.During the concert a pre-recorded message is said to be played for the audience from South African President Nelson Mandela.
Knowing that Africa is where the AIDS epidemic has been spreading so quickly, P.Diddy also known as Sean Combs said in a media news conference, “I don’t think you see enough of this story in your face. There are millions and millions of people that are dying and a lot of it is … because it’s Africans, it’s black people that are dying at this high rateOnce you know about it, it’s almost being an accessory to the genocide if you just turn your back on it”.
An estimated 4.7 million South African’s have AIDS. P.Diddy’s show “Making of the Band 2” on MTV can now be seen on Monday’s at 10pm.
