Kanye West has been candid about his admiration for teenage sensation Justin Bieber, even going as far as to remixing one of the Canadian pop star’s records from his debut album My World 2.0. Therefore it come’s as no surprise that the Chicago rapper/producer will be lending support on Bieber’s next project.
“[He] and Kanye had a call about a song they’re trying to work on together,” said Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun during a live chat with fans earlier this week. “Kanye wants to produce a bunch of new songs for the new album.” Braun added, “He’s been talking to Drake about new music…Him and Chris Brown have been sending stuff back and forth to each other.”
Similarly, singer-songwriter Kevin Cossom recently told Rap-Up.com that he and a few big name producers have done work for Bieber’s as-yet-untitled sophomore disc. “Me and Danja did a joint for [the project] as well as me and Bangladesh, so we’ll see what happens with that…It’s definitely a more edgy vibe.”
