Although the show is not set to air until next year, JC of NYSNC and Toni Braxton announced the nominees for the 30th annual American Music Awards today. In the hip hop category Eminem and Nelly are tied with four nominations in the categories such as Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Album. Other hip hop acts who were nominated are Nappy Roots, Ja Rule, Outkast and Ludacris. The awards will be broadcast live at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium on January 13th. The show will be hosted by The Osbourne family. Winners are chosen from 20,000 listeners who are randomly selected.
