In another senseless shooting, a man who appeared in the number one film in the country, “8 Mile”, was shot in Detroit last week.

Ali Miyzaan, 26 said he was trying to stop several men who were attempting to rob a few young high school kids in a parking lot with sticks and boards. “I sat there for a minute watching, but I couldn’t stand to see it anymore,” Ali Miyzaan informed The Detroit Free Press. “I was really just trying to stop it.” The shooting happened on November 8th around 11:30 pm at the Phoenix Movie Theatre’s which coincidentally can be found on “8 Mile” road.

During Ali’s attempt to break up the robbery he was said to receive a concussion and a unidentified man walked up and shot him. Although no arrests have been made the officers were approaching the scene and heard the shot fired. Ali Miyzaan is a local Detroit rapper but did not have a speaking role in the film. No update on his condition has been released.
