As 2010 comes to an end, Jay-Z and Coldplay are auctioning off a Viva La Hova! concert experience to benefit The Grammy Foundation. While both acts have been touring the world with their concert, they are expected to perform an end of the year show at Las Vegas’ Cosmopolitan Hotel on December 31, 2010.  

The VIP tickets will not be the only prize. The winner will also receive a three night stay in a Cosmopolitan studio, dinner for two on New Year’s Eve and a brunch for two on New Year’s Day. Beyond this, the winner will also obtain two tickets to the Marquee Nightclub and Dayclub for their New Year’s Eve Preview Party.

While on the topic of Jay-Z and hotels, it has also been reported that Jay has officially backed out of the deal to launch the J Hotel in New York City. Initially he partnered with Abram Shnay, Scott Shnay and Charles Baichman but it seems officially out now. 

In other Jay-Z news, his latest project, Decoded, will now get its own application. The Decoded App will work on iPads, iPhones and iPods. The app provides a interactive lyric displays, previously unreleased interviews and excerpts from the actual book. The app can be purchased for close to $24.99 and a more basic version can be bought for $9.99.
