After performing the “Nellyville” in San Diego, California last Friday, one man was killed and another person was serious injured.

Faitamai Tauanuu, 30 and Sean Bowers 27, were the victims of a stabbing in the Coors Amphitheater parking lot. Tauanuu died from his injures, while Bowers remains in the hospital under guarded condition. In police custody, a 16 year old unidentified male, Hank Carl Banegas, 26 and his uncle Steven Tesam, 42 of Alpine, California, have been charged with murder and attempted murder. Both men are being held without bail, and will possibly be arraigned on Tuesday.

The incident has not stopped the Nellyville Tour which features Fabolous, Cash Money Millionaires, and the St. Lunatics.

Both Tesam and Banegas are members of the Kumeyaay Indians, which owns the Viejas Casino. Bobby Barrett, VP of the tribe said in a statement to the media, “The Viejas community is deeply upset and very concerned, and we are anxiously awaiting details,” he said. “Right now we just don’t have any facts.”
