Cameras caught up to the mighty Ghostface Killah backstage at B.B. Kings on Friday, who had a brief note about his upcoming album. With partner-in-rhyme Raekwon by his side he reminded us that The Apollo Kids drops December 14, then added “it’s the warm up to the big thing that is gonna happen next.”
Earlier this year Ironman Starks said he was working on two projects. One was an album called Blue & Cream, a call back to the legendary wallabee skit at the beginning of “Glaciers of Ice” from Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. No word if this album is still coming, or if the title has been changed to The Apollo Kids. The other project he said was coming was Supreme Clientele 2, a sequel to his 2000 masterwork. Could this be what Ghost was alluding to on the video?
