Atlantic Records will be expanding their company with their new business venture. Atlantic Records has entered into a partnership with VP Records, the largest independent market label for Jamican music in the United States. With this partnership Atlantic Records will begin handling mostly all the international marketing for artist such as Sean Paul, Lady Saw, Tanto Metro & Devonte and many others. The marketing for Sean Paul’s new album “Dutty Rock” which will drop on November 12th. Currently Sean Paul is enjoying enoromus success at the top of the billboard charts with his successful hit “Gimme The Light”.
Co-president of Atlantic Records Craig Kallman said in a statement to the media, “This agreement brings to Atlantic a slate of world-class VP reggae artists, including Sean Paul, Lady Saw, Tanto Metro & Devonte, Beres Hammond, Capleton, and T.O.K. , and iIt also puts us in the leadership position of catching Jamaica’s most innovative sounds as soon as they happen in the studio.
