Aiight, ill Will bothered me like crazy to give you a taste of what he has in story for his next article. Check it out. – TommyC (Editor)

Hip-Hop has always prided itself in being an art-form for “the people”. So when the people speak, the opinions of critics and the industry are overruled. For example, when Ja Rule turned in Rule 3:36 and Def Jam said it was soft, it didn’t matter because “the people” said it was good and made it 3x platinum. By no means am I saying “the people” are always right, I’m just saying three million people heavily outweigh a couple hundred , mad writers-like myslef(lol)- and label employees…. On with the point.

I’m proud to announce that after much heated speculation on who the one true G.O.A.T. is, the answer is finally upon us. The Source said it was B.I.G., and XXL said it wasn’t Pac, but “the people” have spoken and as loud and clear as possible– the Greatest Of All Time is undeniably Tupac Shakur.

How do I figure? “The people”, who include Hip-Hop’s current heavyweight’s- Jay-Z, Nas, and Ja Rule have made it extremely clear that as much as they’re on B.I.G.’s dick(rightfully so) and pledge that Biggie was the best, their actions speak louder than words. And with “The Pledge Remix”, Nas’s “So Many Tears”, and Jay-Z’s “03 Bonnie & Clyde”. It’s evident that Pac is still constantly in rotation in the minds and hearts of the Hip-Hop community.

Keep in mind that 2Pac is the G.O.A.T., no where in that acronym does it mention anything about lyrics. Point blank, he is the most influential artist Hip-Hop has ever birthed and thanks to his fans, which include Hip-Hop’s elite, he will forever remain that way. Although I’m disgusted by the three aforementioned songs, I’m comforted in knowing that because of the gift and the curse of 2Pac’s legacy, he will never truly die. –The Peoples Champ, Ill Will
