Two rappers that the DX staff deeply admires are Smoothe The Hustler and Nine. The former Profile Records labelmates are all about hard rhymes, scratchy voices and spelling “murder” backwards. Last year, we caught up with Smoothe for the “These Are Our Heroes” segment, but to see the Brownsville legend get back on stage with Nine is great, and the GrandGood guys put us onto game.
