Rapper Cory Gunz has just become the latest artist to sign to Baby’s Cash Money. News of Cory Gunz’ signing was revealed by Baby in an interview with DJ Envy on MTV2’s Sucker Free.

“[We] had the opportunity to work with him before…He a fire spitter, He talented already so once we come in and put the polish he outta here,” Baby explained to Envy.

As an artist on Cash Money Cory Gunz will be joining the likes of Drake, Nicki Minaj, Jae Millz, and more. Gunz’ first release will be an EP entitled God Forgives, I Don’t.

In other label news, D-Block’s own Sheek Louch spoke to XXLMag.com in regards to his move to Def Jam and why the label was a right choice for him.

“I got some real good music coming out,” Louch explained. “I needed that right machine behind it to get that record past the level that it stops, to push it further. And I was shopping it to a lot of the majors…but my man L and Butch, Czar, Mike Caruso and Lenny S…they brought me up in there to Def Jam. And Chris Hicks and L.A. [Reid] they seen the vision. And it’s on.”

Louch also revealed that he’s focused on putting out The L.O.X. album and that the group is still unsure of what label they’ll be calling home.

Although rapper Remy Ma is still behind bars she’s a already planning a collaborative album with her husband and fellow rapper Papoose. Remy Ma shared the news of the duo’s mixtape in a video that was posted on WorldStarHipHop.com.

“I be killing him on all the tracks I’m on. I’m kidding, I’m kidding,” said Remy Ma. “Actually, we have so many songs recorded together and he’s like, ‘We’re doing the Mr. & Mrs. Mackie mixtape.’ We’re actually doing an album together and we have numerous songs together.”
