New York-based Hip Hop trio Blestenation is gearing up to release their newest mixtape ‘Left for Dead.’ The digital EP will include features from Jadakiss, Ladytron and others. The group, which jumped onto the scene only few years ago, began their careers on Geffen Records until problems within the group including drug addiction, fights, and a somewhat random altercation with Ryan Seacrest forced them to leave the label.
The EP, dropping Dec. 8, will be a precursor to their debut album Mbugout City, which will hit shelves early next year.
In other news, triple threat RJD2 will be reissuing three of his previous albums in to commemorate 10 years in the music game. The deejay/producer/singer will re-release ’02’s Deadringer, ’03’s The Horror, and ’04’s Since We Last Spoke, each containing two bonus tracks per album. RJ recently started a new record label called RJ Electrical Connections where he will drop his first LP in three years, The Collosus, on Jan 19.
In addition, RJ will give away free records, mp3’s, and other gifts to fans every Monday until his The Collosus drops on his website rjselectricalconnections.com.
