    1. Nicki falled off hard this time around, after her lil stunts around her album release she is only st 420,000. You can brag and act like you all that with those numbers, epecially after underperforming previous albums.
Cole is doing good he doesnt have the mainstream hype but im starting to think the mainstream audience is starting to listen to him, hopefully this doesnt change his style to try to get that mainstream fanbase

      1. why are we comparing Nicki to J.cole? seriously? give her her props! her album is doing well after just 5 weeks out and looking to scan gold in about 2-3 weeks.. i dnt see whats the dissing Nicki bcaz Cole album is already Gold! please remember that Cole out sold Kanye after the 3rd week of release he has always had a hard core fan base that buys his shit. give props where its due because neither of these albums are nothing near flop is you looking at other rap album sales. Nicki holding down highest hiphop rap sales for 4 weeks now.

      2. You fail to realize that Nicki has sold over 50 million records after just 5 years & has sold more albums overall than J. Cole. He doesn’t have a platinum album to his name. She has 2. With Pink Friday a couple copies away from double platinum status. Both of their albums are doing well especially in this climate. So, there shouldn’t be any hate towards her for one release doing less than his.

      3. Please. Nicki did not sell 50 million records and she did not sell more than J Cole. No need to pull fake numbers out your ass. Her newest album flopped considering it sod less than the last two. It’s all downhill from here for her (plus, her last album did not sell platinum despite shipping a million). It’s not hate, it’s facts.

      1. that was a unofficial album… barely any of it was original materiel. DMX was against the release of the album.

    2. J.COLE SALES ARE BEASTLY HE’S MARCHING ON TO 700K NEXT WEEK WITHOUT ANY BIG PROMOTIONS OR MAJOR RADIO HIT SINGLES THESE NUMBERS ARE HUGE AND YEA I KNOW HATERS DRAKE CAN SALE 600K-700K IN ONE WEEK BUT CAN HE DO WHAT J.COLE DID AND DROP VIEWS FROM THE 6 OUT OF NOWHERE WITHOUT MAJOR PROMOTIONS, BIG RADIO HITS, OR FEATURES ARTISTS I DOUBT IT CAUSE DRAKE NEED HELP FROM BIG RAPPERS LIKE JAY-Z, KANYE WEST, EMINEM ETC. TO BE FEATURED ON HIS ALBUMS TO MAKE IT SUCH A HUGE SUCCESS IF DRAKE DIDN’T HE KNOWS IT WOULD HURT HIS SALES PROOF DRAKE CAN’T DO IT ON HIS OWN AND HAVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF BIG SUCCESS AS HE WOULD WITH FEATURED ARTISTS, PROMOTIONS, AND BIG RADIO HIT SINGLES MORE PROOF COLE IS BETTER THAN DRIZZY J.COLE DOESN’T NEED THE HELP OF HOV ON HIS RECORDS LIKE DRAKE NEEDS WEEZY THOSE ARE FACTS DEAL WITH IT COLE WORLD BITCHESS

      1. Actually i prefer cole but Drake could definitely move more albums with no promotion or features. At this point drake’s name is bigger in rap then any other’s, even the greats would need his help.

But yeah Cole actually dropped a strictly hip-hop album with no singles and did great. This is a giant accomplishment and just goes to show that rap fans aren’t as bad people say, and opens up the doors to more rappers staying true to themselves and not chasing a radio sound.

    3. I would love to hear what you have to say about J Cole’s album, then.
Nicki made a hiphop album while j cole made a pop album. Hiphop doesn’t sell as well as pop and j cole should have done much better.

      1. Are you slow? Nicki was the one that made a pop album (Pills N Potions, Bed of Lies, Grand Piano, etc.) while J Cole made a hip-hop album. His album did do better since it outsold his previous two.

      2. Funny how you say hip-hop doesn’t sell as much as pop yet J Cole’s album, which had no pop songs, sold more than Nicki’s album, which is full of pop songs.

    4. Streaming count! WOW These record companies are doing any and everything to make up for the decreasing amount of records being sold. LOL This SH!T is ridiculous. SMDH When you make good/great music it sells period. Apparently the music that’s being put out isn’t that good.

      1. LOL, you cats just don’t get it. these new “FANS” DON’T BUY MUSIC. the WHOLE industry has been in decline the last 5 YEARS because they only buy what’s popular, not what’s good. they ain’t tastemakers, they are followers!!!!

      1. you need that girlie talk because you ain’t about the music poser…..the signs are up and they say…….go away faker

    5. Sorry you nicki fans but this chick after all is said and done about this pinkprint album will do no better than 600,000-700,000.Not too bad.But when you brag and show all of your ass for the world to see,you should at least be pushing platinum to double platinum status,if not more.I honestly feel that this chick is on the decline and her five minutes of fame is finally going to be over. This album will not.I repeat, this album will not do as well as her previous works.People are tired of this fake too gimmicky rap chick.Prepare yourselves, you die hard nikki fans.

    6. WOW! I don’t consider Nicki Minaj a “Female Rapper” she IS A RAPPER. All her haters just keep her name alive. I’m 100% sure Iggy will NEVER be as much as Nicki Minaj is. Nicki is the best Lyrically. Numbers don’t lie. The proof is everywhere!

      1. Hahahahahahahahahaha!! The best lyrically? You mean the same Nicki who made bullshit like Anaconda, Stupid Hoe, Starships, etc.? LOL thanks for the laugh.

      2. Sorry but Nicki is far from the best female rapper, but her latest album was pretty decent. She’s definitely better than Iggy, Iggy definitely has to step her game up. Talking about better female rappers, Azaelia Banks for example, no matter how many people hate her personality, eeeeeasily surpasses both of them lyrically – no, basically in every aspect.
