GloRilla Plots 2023 U.S. Tour After Earning First Grammy Nomination

GloRilla will be taking her brand of Memphis, Tennessee rap on the road next year when she embarks on the Anyways, Life’s Great… Tour.

Big Glo’s first headlining tour will support her latest EP of the same name and will kick off on January 27 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The tour will make stops in Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, Las Vegas, New York City and more before closing things out in Washington D.C. on February 25.

GloRilla took to Instagram to share the news. “SO EXCITED!! I’m going on my VERY FIRST TOUR!!! Get the presale code when you join my Discord [two guerrilla emojis],” she captioned a flier for the tour. “Presale starts 11/17 @ 10AM local time. Public on sale Friday, Nov 18 at 10AM Local. BIG GLO & GANG EM COMING TO UR CITY !”

There is a date saved for a show in Memphis, Tennesee, but nothing is set in stone as of yet. The “Tomorrow 2” rapper has already been on the road promoting her music, but the official tour begins on January 27. Tickets are now available here.

The news of the tour arrives after GloRilla received her first Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance for the hit single “F.N.F (Let’s Go)” on Tuesday (November 15). The Collective Music Group rapper hopped on Twitter to celebrate the news.

“The same song they was clowning me & my friends about saying we was Ugly & Dusty just got nominated for a Grammy,” she wrote on Twitter. “WHEN GOD IS ON YOUR SIDE YOU CANNOT FAIL.”

GloRilla’s popularity rose even higher after Nas shouted her out on the King’s Disease III closing bonus track “Til My Last Breath,” where he raps: “I’m applying pressure, I see why she prеssed (Why she pressed)/ When she with me she GloRilla, FNF (FNF)/ N-A-S, I’m steppin’ ’til my last breath (My last breath, yeah).”

TMZ caught up with the Memphis native shortly after King’s Disease III dropped on Friday (November 11), and the young rapper was thrilled by Nas’s shout-out.

“I love that so much, Nas is a big legend for real,” Glo said. “That’s super big. Like I never in a million years.”

While they’re celebrating each other, Nas and GloRilla are also in the middle of a tense first-week sales race. The CMG signee dropped her debut EP Anyways, Life’s Great… the same day as Nas’s album, and she’s found herself in an unlikely position for an up-and-coming rapper.

Hits Daily Double has projected that Nas’s release will move around 27,500 in its first week, while GloRilla’s debut is expected to move around 28,000, which means both artists will be competing for the No. 10 slot on the Billboard 200.
