Fans may have misunderstood Ghostface Killah’s collaboration with Jay Z if it were ever released.
Jay requested Raekwon and Ghostface for his Magna Carta:Holy Grail cut “Heaven.”
In a new interview with VladTV, Ghostface talks about missing his studio session with Hov due to a previously scheduled concert and his decision to rap about Islam on the religion-related song.
While Raekwon was able to attend the studio session with Jay, Ghostface says he recorded his verse sometime after.
“I wanted to make that album because Jay don’t reach out to nobody,” Ghostface says. “I did the shit for him a little bit after but it was kinda too late…that ‘Heaven’ joint.”
Ghost says he is holding onto his verse and has no intentions of releasing it because “brothers aren’t going to be able to understand it.”
“I went real deep on some Islam,” he says. “A lot of people wouldn’t really understand it. At the time, I wouldn’t have even cared because I took them through the Qur’an.”

No disrespect to either or, but Jay copied the Wu’s blueprint
at that time & era who didn’t? without wu there would be no cross label collaborations so the whole industry copied them.
And how exactly did he do that?? I really get disgusted by people like you. So you looked at Jay-z’s life and career and someone how saw wu-tang all over it, right? Without mincing words you’re an idiot. You didn’t even mention Big (and if you did you’d still be wrong) you just somehow thought Wu?? You can be the biggest Wu fan but that is just beyond stupid!
