Fivio Foreign has asked fans to pray for him, after revealing that complications with his health kept him from performing at this year’s Rolling Loud California.
The Brooklyn star took to Twitter late on Friday night (March 3) — hours after his scheduled performance on day one of the festival — to apologize for missing his set, something he said has never happened in his career.

Without going into many details, Fivio explained that he decided to skip Rolling Loud to address what was keeping him from physically being at his best.
“Apologize to @RollingLoud & everybody who came out to see me I ain’t make it,” he tweeted. “My first time missing a show and I feel so crazy about it but my body dealing w some real issues.. Juss keep me in yah prayers & I’ll hit Tariq up to make it up [blue heart emoji].”
Though he didn’t offer any additional information about his condition or symptoms, Fivio Foreign’s health scare comes days after he shared some thoughts about how the pressures of life and career responsibilities can bring on anxiety and depression.
“The reason people deal w depression and trauma and anxiety is cause they tryna take care of the things dat should b taken care of,” he tweeted on February 21, later adding: “I don’t ignore my problems I fix them…”
As fans asked him to explain his statement, Fivio offered some clarification, writing: “Ok lemme resay it for the people dat don’t get it… The folks dat don’t go above and beyond to handle there responsibilities b less depress then us dat do. Don’t worry this mixtape will explain everything..”
Last month, the “Big Drip” rapper also shed some light regarding the release of his upcoming Gangsta Grillz mixtape with DJ Drama, taking to Twitter with a video of him linking up with ukulele player and producer Einer Bankz.

The video sees Bankz playing his ukulele and Fivio rapping a few verses from an unreleased song. In his caption, Fivio revealed his Gangsta Grillz mixtape would arrive in April. It’s unclear if the song he freestyled will appear on the tape.
If the Brooklyn native sticks to April, his mixtape will arrive a full year after he dropped his debut album B.I.B.L.E. which also happens to be the last project he’s released.
Fivio Foreign’s upcoming Gangsta Grillz mixtape is the latest project in DJ Drama’s legendary series to be announced. The Generation Now co-founder resurrected the series with several high-profile releases from the likes of Tyler, The Creator, J. Cole and Dreamville, Jeezy, Dave East, Snoop Dogg, Jim Jones, Symba and more.
Last December, Juelz Santana announced he was going to link with DJ Drama for a mixtape titled We In Motion that’s slated to arrive very soon; he’s been teasing singles with Jadakiss, Joyner Lucas and more.
