Fat Joe and Ja Rule headed to Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater on Tuesday night (September 14) where they went head-to-head for the latest Verzuz. Special guests included Nelly, Ashanti, Jadakiss, Remy Ma and producer Dre, who all came out to support.
Throughout the evening, Fat Joe threw several lighthearted jabs at Ja Rule for his failed Fyre Fest, but his jokes about the Murder Inc. rapper’s collaborators Lil Mo and Vita struggled to land.
Around the time Lil Mo and Vita graced the stage to perform “Put It On Me” from Ja Rule’s 2000 album Rule 3:36, Fat Joe said, “Oh, them dusty bitches. You had to go to the crack house to find them bitches.”
While neither women offered much of a response, Lil Mo did say she was “disappointed” on social media.
Now, it looks like Fat Joe is feeling remorse for his harsh words and has offered an apology on Twitter — although he misspelled both of their names.
“Shout out to the ladies very sorry if i disrespected,” he wrote late Tuesday night. “i love vida and lil Moe I’m super sorry love my sisters.”
There was just as much action in the Verzuz Instagram comment section as the stage itself with appearances from Diddy, DJ Khaled and many more.
Murder Inc. co-founder Irv Gotti sparked another contentious exchange with longtime foe 50 Cent after he wrote, “All y’all talking that 50 shit. All good. He got beat up stabbed up. Shot up. And sued us. That’s all I’m gonna say. Your hero ain’t what you think he is. Period. And Facts.”
Meanwhile, Diddy made it clear he was willing to do a Verzuz, but maintained his only worthy opponent is Dr. Dre.
Verzuz co-founders Swizz Beatz and Timbaland haven’t given up on the idea — they just have to get the Beats By Dre mogul to agree.
Nobody respects women more than I do, nobody. Fat Joe took a page off D Trump
Fat joe showing classical black people traits. Insults them as if he doesn’t respect them and then says he loves them. He took a play out of the black people handbook. You see it all the time, rappers saying one thing and do another. You can’t trust blacks and fat joe grew up around them. Go figure
That’s interesting bc blacks were literally beat and conditioned into the habits and mentality in the present. Who spread that mindset? Pale skins with the neanderthal DNA. Y’all weren’t enslaved, kidnapped, raped or anything y’all naturally are evil! Y’all literally created the ghettos, mass genocide, pretty much the inventors everything negative for the mind body and soul! They call y’all the cancer of the planet bc y’all are only good at creating death! Even if it means killing yourselves you can’t stop just like cancer. GMO people bc yall we’re created in a lab not born from the womb y’all the grapes without the seeds bc yall don’t have a soul.
Weirdo ?
I ment Look who’s talking is a weirdo
Fat Joe is gay, first dissin puns wife, now this.
Ho’s is dusty 4real..
oh behave.
Fat Joe knew what he was doing when he called them dusty bitches. He’s a clown. He was smoking dope for thinking he could go toe to toe with Ja Rule in a Verzuz anyway lol.
The young generation are such pussies. Everything is an excuse to get offended. You cant even make a joke about women. This story aint even about the women themselves getting offended, its about the stupid fucking twitter people that this site swears their opinions are so important. Both them hoes was one hit wonders, the joke was funny and Fat Joe should have stood by it. Fuck apologizing for these pussies on social media.
