Eminem is selling his Rochester Hills, Michigan mansion for $2 million, 42 percent less than he bought the gated estate for in 2003, according to E! News. The five-bedroom, eight-and-a-half-bath house was originally purchased for $4.75 million at the peak of Slim Shady’s dominance in the industry. He made the lavish purchase shortly after The Eminem Show dropped in 2002 and right before he released Encore in 2004.

The house was built in 1986 and sits on 5.69 acres. It boasts 17,500 square feet, a tennis court, basketball court, pool, hot tub, guard house (for security), game room, cabana, and private pond.

The Missouri-born MC spent the bulk of his life in Michigan and came up in the Detroit rap scene before exploding into superstardom. Eight solo studio albums and millions of record sales later, and Em is reportedly finishing his ninth, which is expected to arrive this fall.
His 2005 album, Curtain Call: The Hits, recently became Billboard’s longest-charting Hip Hop album in the chart’s history.

Wow, 2 million goes far in Michigan!
Lmao no kidding i just installed trim and cabinetry in a home on waterfront property thats worth $1.75 M its only 5700 sq ft or so only luxury room is a bar/ movie theater room otherwise just 5 bathrooms 6 bedrooms and 2 kitchens its new construction and in north dakota even…
The reason being that Michigan’s economy has gone down the drain and a lot of people in places like Detroit are now living in poverty, pretty sad really
This shit isn’t news…. Everyone there knows that fool isn’t moving. He is living and dying in the city that gave him the power that he has today. Plus that fool is pretty rich he probably has a few houses that he goes to when he is tired of Detroit. Only cowards like Wayne leave the place that made them famous. END.
looks like 1 of those houses you inherit from a great grandmother with the vintage plates, embarrassing childhood photos of yo mom and uncles and shit, a ugly ass benz in the garage that will probably cost more keep than 2 sell
