Drunk Nas: “I’m The Greatest Virgo To Ever Live … Besides Doug E. Fresh.”

Nas evidently drank too much alcohol on Saturday night (May 26) and was forced to stumble through a Las Vegas club appearance.

While the Hip Hop legend still was standing upright, he declared, “I’m the greatest Virgo to ever live … besides Doug E. Fresh” as he swayed to Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature,” which he famously sampled for his own classic, “It Ain’t Hard To Tell.”

The 44-year-old MC was at the Palms for the grand opening of the Apex Social Club. According to TMZ, club attendees said he wandered off after less than 10 minutes on the mic.

But before Nas made his grand exit, he managed to spit out, “I’m just happy. I’m just happy for Apex. Shout out to everybody living life!”

As far as Nasty Nas’ Hip Hop Virgo competition, artists like Wiz Khalifa, Lil Yachty, Big Daddy Kane, 2 Chainz and the late Eazy-E were also born between August 23 and September 22.

In 2004, Nas recruited Ludacris and Doug E. Fresh for the Street’s Disciples track “Virgo,” and it’s a known fact Nas is a huge fan of classic Hip Hop.

Prior to Nas’ 2010 divorce from Kelis, she threw a surprise party for Nas’ 33rd birthday and invited some of his favorite golden era MCs, including Slick Rick Dana Dane, Bizzy B, Melle Mel, Monie Love, Just Ice and, of course, Doug E. Fresh. [apple_news_ad type=”any”]

Nas is currently embroiled in a bitter custody battle with his ex-wife over their 8-year-son Knight. In a recent interview, the “Milkshake” singer opened up about their marriage and alleged Nas was a violent alcoholic during their nearly six-year union.

        1. He may be alcoholic, but the violent part, seems fabricated. He may have been violent with her, which is typical of a woman you can’t get along with, and drinking escalates situations. But this guy seems fine chilling there saying he’s the greatest Virgo. Maybe an alcoholic. Maybe. Lol.

            1. Nah, not aight to hit women, I’m saying that she’s saying he’s a violent alcoholic, but she was probably pouring fuel on the flame. So you’re a soft ass mother fucker that doesn’t realize women will make men out to be monsters, but hide all the bullshit they do to cause the chaos?

        2. So you’re essentially saying the same thing I responded to? If u were Kelis you’d b takin this video to a judge sayin look I told u !!! ?? everybody’s drunk in the club o yea u call me dumb ( cannot not can’t not smart ass )

        3. So because he’s got that domestic case, he’s supposed to hide and not engage in his lively hood? He’s Winning, sauced money and collected a check from Apex while drunkenly mumbling through his hits.

      1. not necessarily. anybody can get drunk. liquor has been freely served since after the Prohibition. the point i am making is that almost everybody drinks in some form or fashion. i knew people who can be drunk and were super chill. so laid back, you didn’t even know they were in the room. i am a social drinker and like to be laidback. You see from Nas that he’s that way. You can tell when someone is a violent drunk. trust me, i was in the military where everybody drinks (well almost everybody) and smoke weed too. violent drunks are are all over the place when they drink and tend to be louder. just from my experience

      2. How? So if my ex says I shit on myself when I eat pepper. And you see me eating pepper. Are you going to conclude I shit on myself when I eat pepper? God damn. That is worse than dumb.

    1. Slug is the best virgo to ever rap.

Make the love, paint the picture, write the song. The player met a virgin made a virgo named him Sean.

    2. Nas ain’t broke, you see how much Kelis is asking for child support? And I’m pretty confident Nas’ new album will do some numbers. More than 4:44 probably.

      1. You’re just as drunk as broke ass Nas is if you think his new album will outsell 4:44. Remember, all of King HOV’s albums went platinum plus. Nas was lucky to have 7 platinum albums.

        1. u should really stop coming on every nas article and talking shit !! ur riding Jay z dick too much and what u said about Nas being lucky to have 7 platinum albums is bullshit !! stop hating on a legend

    3. People hate in everything. Even a stone! Smh how do you relate this to violence? Apply a little logic. He can drink and not be violent. Or can be violent. Just saying this doesn’t exactly mean he is violent when drunk.

    4. I’m just here for the “the hip hop legend…” part!
Mans get drunk like all of us and he living his life!

    5. I met Doug a few months ago. He was with a fine young chick. Humble. Down to earth. I said, “Man you helped raise me.” He said, “It takes a village,” and chuckled. Cool guy.

    6. “Life is Good” is a top-5 Nas album, and his best in years. Frankly, I’m worried about the Kanye production on the next album–not Nas. Nas is currently riding another high point in his career and these new Kanye beats (like on Daytona) are trash to me. It’ll be cool to hear a shorter, restrained Nas album tho–hopefully Ye chops any filler out (like that shitty Summer on Smash song from his last album).

    8. Man people say all kind of crap when they’re drunk lol…I know I have. Dude is human it just so happens we put Nas on a pedestal because he’s a living legend. But this is silly news

    9. Nas…Broke? Lol. Funniest thing I heard all week. You know he always been super lowkey and private. And if any grown man with any experience knows, you don’t truthfully divulge all your funds in a custody battle. Trust me, that 9 mil in the bank and $175k per month he claims he makes, while still great money, is probably the absolute lowest that they could’ve presented the judge without looking like out right liars. He just made $40- 50 mil plus off one of his investments and has a TON of other major investments bubbling and about to blow as well. His net worth is already $50 mil and that’s with him being private and lowkey and likely non truthful to downplay his funds. Nas and his lawyers are smart and made sure to hide the real money in his businesses. I’ve been thru it myself. It’s Custody battle Etiquette 101 Lol.
