Drake Credits Lil Baby For $17M Roulette Win

Drake has no shortage of luck when it comes to gambling, but he can thank Lil Baby for one of his most recent — and biggest — wins.

Last week, the OVO superstar livestreamed himself playing roulette as part of a giveaway event with online casino platform Stake, which saw him share his winnings with fans across the world.

At one point during the high stakes session, Drake won a staggering $17.9 million on a single roulette bet. Just as the Toronto native and his friends erupted into astonishment, Lil Baby casually walked into the room.

“You know why that happened?” Drake said while celebrating his hefty win. “Because Baby walked in! That’s why.”

Lil Baby was more than just Drake’s good luck charm. As Aubrey revealed during the Stake livestream, the Atlanta rapper was busy working on a new collaboration at his home studio at his sprawling Toronto estate.

“By the way, my brother Lil Baby’s in the studio right now. He’s cooking up, we’re working,” Drake told viewers. “But he’s gonna come and do some spins with us tonight too.”

The untitled song will join a growing list of Drake and Lil Baby collaborations following “Wants and Needs,” “Girls Want Girls,” “Yes Indeed” and “Never Recover,” all of which have cracked the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100.

This latest track seems destined for Baby’s upcoming album, which is due out this summer. It serves as the eagerly anticipated follow-up to 2020’s My Turn.

On top of their successful studio partnership, Drake and Lil Baby shared the stage at the 2022 Festival Metro Metro in Montreal, Canada earlier this month. The 4PF lyricist brought out the Certified Lover Boy hitmaker as a surprise guest during his day two headlining set, with Drake performing hits such as “Nonstop,” “Way 2 Sexy” and “Headlines.”

    1. Drake didn’t win $17 million

Stake.com paid him to promote it and do the livestream

That $17 million are just numbers in a computer

    2. Disingenuous reporting. Drake is a stake ambassador and the money he started with was provided by Stake. As are the pots he plays with on his socials. Also, Stake owns the plattform he plays on, so all money won through the platform are money taken FROM Stake, likewise all money lost go to Stake. What you also omitted from the article was that he lost his whole balance by the end of the stream – including the 17m. This is all a marketing ploy from Stake, they lost nothing and finnessed the Drake fans that tuned in that you really can win big on betting. However, mathematically you WILL lose. HHDX, dont run these betting sites’ errands by promoting this bullshit…

    3. I’m glad people are clarifying this stunt because I didn’t even get it as it being a promo with Stake. Gambling will not only ruin you financially but also mentally and it will even consume your family time since there’s always something to bet on. It took me big financial losses from my hard earned money to eventually man up last summer and swear to not gamble ever again in my life. I would advise the same to everyone seeing this FAKE stuff. This is NOT how gambling works and especially not how it ENDS. In the end you will have lost over ten fold of what you won! It was extremely hard to start my bank account off from 0 again and sometimes I did think ‘I know how this game will end, just one bet won’t hurt’, but I always shook it off and said ‘no’ to myself. Now a year later, I am getting on again, just take the loss and move on like with many situations in life. Don’t start, not even with 10 or 20. Before you know it you will be betting hundreds and soon after that thousands.

      1. thats 4 degenerates. not everybody a degenerate & can gamble responsibly, now they really shouldnt have commercials promoting it but this is america. dont punish the many because the few are junkies n degenerates
