Lil Baby found astronomical success with his second studio album My Turn. The project was released in February 2020 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
The album went on an insane run staying at the top of the chart for five weeks and went triple platinum within a year. He also dropped the deluxe edition in May 2020 which continued to push the album even more. If that wasn’t any indication of how big Lil Baby’s My Turn was, the latest accolade it achieved might do it.
On Thursday (March 17), Billboard announced My Turn has logged in an unprecedented 85 weeks in the top 10 of the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. With its latest week accomplishment, My Turn is the only album with the most weeks inside the top 10 since the R&B/Hip Hop Album chart began in 1965. Post Malone’s Hollywood’s Bleeding held the record previously with 84 weeks in the top 10 in 2019-2021.

Lil Baby’s My Turn has spent a total 106 weeks on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, including six different runs at the No. 1 spot. The album also had five different top 10 hits, including “Woah” (No. 7), “Sum 2 Prove” (No. 9), “Heatin Up,” with Gunna (No. 10), “We Paid,” with 42 Dugg (No. 8) and The Bigger Picture (No. 3).

Lil Baby Answers Gunna's Summer 2022 Takeover Challenge
While he’s celebrating the huge accomplishment, the 4PF boss is already gearing up to release new music this summer. Fellow Atlanta native Gunna jumped on Instagram to warn his peers he was dropping something in the hotter months, which caused Lil Baby to respond with a post of his own.
“This summers mine,” Lil Baby wrote alongside a photo of him sitting comfortably with massive piles of cash stacked on his lap.
