Drake Breaks Record For Most Billboard Hot 100 Entries

Drake has made history once again. According to Billboard, Drizzy now holds the record for most Hot 100 entries ever after earning his 208th placement.

The OVO star accomplished his record-setting feat thanks to his appearance on Lil Yachty’s “Oprah’s Bank Account” single. The song debuted at No. 89 on the Hot 100 dated March 21, 2020.

Drake’s chart dominance allowed him to surpass the cast of the television show Glee, which previously set the record for most entries on the Hot 100 with 207 songs.

The 6 God’s Hot 100 success includes a streak of 431 consecutive weeks on the chart. That run dated back to his first hit in 2009 before ending in August 2017.

Although Drake’s record-breaking entry has a relatively modest placement on the latest Hot 100, his presence is still felt in the current Top 10. Drizzy’s “Life Is Good” collaboration with Future sits at No. 3 after spending its first eight weeks on the chart at No. 2.

    1. In one generation we went from a soulja like tupac to a coward like Drake. I think that says a lot about the generations these two represent.

      1. Cant compare. Tupac died @ 26, Drake was on top at age 26 and now is like 31 and his position remains. Like Jay says “How am i supposed to win they got me fighting ghosts

        1. Tupac died at 25 though. Anyway Drake has achieved a lot in terms of Billboard hits more than any 90’s rapper dead or alive.

        2. He actually died when he was 25 and Drake is actually 33(check your facts, it is as simple as you typing in a few words in the web browser). Furthermore artists of different generations will always be compared. Think Rakim and Nas or Michael Jackson and James Brown. The problem with the Drakes and Nicki Minajs is that they in no way compare favorably to the future generation. Actually, they destroyed the art form and the culture and will always be looked down upon for it.

    2. It would be antisemitic for him to not have Most Billboard Hot 100 Entries.

    3. There are an extra billion people on the planet now than when real talents were around 50-70 years ago. Also because of the internet it’s more accessible too.
