Chris Brown has gotten into a verbal altercation backstage at the Lovers & Friends Festival less than 24 hours after he reportedly scuffled with Usher.
A fan managed to catch the fight backstage at the Las Vegas, NV festival on Saturday (May 6). The fight, which reportedly took place during Missy Elliott‘s festival set, features the “Run It” singer repeatedly getting in the face of several men who appear to be bodyguards, as his crew attempts to hold him back from escalating the situation any further.
Brown, looking visibly angered, repeatedly screams “I got it!” and tries to shove the other men again and again, to no avail.

This violent altercation is just the latest incident with Chris Brown, who has a well-documented history of violence against both men and women — including Rihanna, Karrueche Tran (who got a restraining order against the singer), and — most recently — Usher.
When reports of the alleged assault first surfaced on Saturday (May 6), both Brown and Usher began trending on Twitter. And while the initial details of the alleged assault were murky, TMZ ultimately confirmed that an altercation did, indeed, take place between the two artists.
In the video posted by the outlet, both artists were at the Skate City roller rink in Las Vegas, NV, with their respective crews. When Brown started trying to talk to Teyana Taylor — who was there with Usher — Taylor turned her head and refused to chat him up. This rejection made the “Run It” singer super angry, and he began yelling at the actress (and Iman Shumpert’s wife).
Usher then intervened, trying to diffuse the situation. And while the video doesn’t make clear what happened next, the “Let It Burn” singer reportedly came back a short time later with a bloody nose, prompting rumors that he’d been jumped by Chris Brown and his crew.
News of this alleged assault couldn’t have come at a worse time, as just four days ago, Usher was teasing a potential Verzuz with Chris Brown — who was, at least up until this incident, counted as a “close friend” of the singer.
The Confessions artist stopped by Big Boy’s Neighborhood last week where he hinted at stepping into the Verzuz ring with C-Breezy at some point in the future and continued to add more fuel to the fire of the dream R&B match-up.
“Me and Chris would kill the world if we ever did something together like that. I’m not saying it’s Verzuz, but I’ma just say this, if that ever happens it would be one of the biggest things that anybody has ever experienced in entertainment in celebration of two people who love each other,” Usher said.
“Because I love Chris — I don’t like him, I don’t like his music, I love his music, I love him. He’s my little brother and he’s always been there for me and I’ve always been there with him.”
He continued: “Through hard, ups and down times I’ve been there with him. For us to be able to celebrate what we do together, that’ll be crazy.”
