Usher has teased a potential Verzuz celebration rather than a battle with his close friend and R&B counterpart Chris Brown sometime down the line.

The Confessions artist stopped by Big Boy’s Neighborhood last week where he hinted at stepping into the Verzuz ring with C-Breezy at some point in the future and continued to add more fuel to the fire of the dream R&B match-up.

“Me and Chris would kill the world if we ever did something together like that. I’m not saying it’s Verzuz, but I’ma just say this, if that ever happens it would be one of the biggest things that anybody has ever experienced in entertainment in celebration of two people who love each other,” Usher said.

“Because I love Chris — I don’t like him, I don’t like his music, I love his music, I love him. He’s my little brother and he’s always been there for me and I’ve always been there with him.”

He continued: “Through hard, ups and down times I’ve been there with him. For us to be able to celebrate what we do together, that’ll be crazy.”

It’s unclear if this would take place on the Verzuz platform or even a possible joint tour down the line, but it appears Usher is open to the idea of a collaborative experience celebrating he and Chris Brown’s greatness.

This isn’t the first time the idea of an Usher-Breezy Verzuz battle has been floated. Last year, the “Caught Up” singer had a similar response to the potential bout stating nothing was set in stone.

“I don’t think y’all ready for nothing like that,” he said to E!’s Daily Pop. “You might be ready for something like that on stage, maybe in the future. Stay tuned.”

Usher is also very confident that nobody could actually outduel him in a Verzuz battle with his decorated catalog.

“I think if you ever came to my show, you would understand that I don’t even think a Verzuz could handle all of the songs that I have to be honest,” he declared to the PEOPLE Everyday Podcast. “It’s like, I could do it by myself. But I don’t wanna do that. That’s not the purpose of Verzuz, me versus me.

“I’m cut from a way different cloth man. And when you put those songs on, I’m telling you, I don’t think anybody in the world would want smoke with them songs.”
