Karrueche Tran has been granted a five-year restraining order against ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. This means that the “Party” singer must stay 100 yards away from Kae’s home, work, job, car and never contact her through the year 2022, according to court documents obtained by ET.

Brown is also reportedly responsible for her lawyer fees and he’s also been ordered to attend a 52-week batterer intervention program.

Tran took the stand Thursday morning (June 15) and told the judge how after she refused Chris Brown’s demands of returning money and jewelry back, he began to send her threatening text messages. He even reportedly told a “few people” that he was going to kill her.

TMZ reports that some of those messages included texts like, “I’m not being nice to you no more, if I see you out in public again and I’m there I will make you hate me even more, don’t be anywhere I’m out in public, I’m going to ban you from all events,” “I can get my money back and I’m tired of playing games,” “Bitch I will beat the shit out of you” and “I promise you I will make your life hell.”

Two voicemails were also played in court with Chris reportedly threatening her as well.

While the 29-year-old R&B singer was not present in court, his attorney David Gammill did get a chance to cross-examine Kae, where he asked why she never reported Chris’ previous abuse towards her to authorities during their relationship and pointed out how she teased Brown about selling the diamond rings he had given her. Karrueche said she feared for her safety, which is why she’s seeking the restraining order and that she had no intention on giving her ex the rings back.
