Cam’ron Goes Viral For Wild ‘CNN’ Interview About Diddy & Cassie Drama

Cam’ron has provided another hilarious TV moment after appearing on CNN to discuss Diddy‘s 2016 assault of Cassie and subsequent apology.

Host Abby Phillip began by asking Killa Cam about his reaction to the shocking footage that surfaced last week of the Bad Boy boss brutally attacking his then-girlfriend in a hotel corridor eight years ago.

“First of all, everything in the video was egregious. I don’t support all the charges that’s alleged against him. I don’t support any of that — trafficking minors, domestic violence. I’m totally against it,” the Dipset rapper replied, referencing the lawsuits against Diddy.

“So when I saw the video, yeah, I was kinda upset with it. Being that I know him — he’s not necessarily a friend — but I was upset when I saw it.”

The interview quickly began to go off the rails when Phillip asked Cam’ron if he “recognized” the anger that Diddy displayed in the CCTV footage, irking the Harlem native.

“I don’t know him like that. What do you mean do I recognize him?” he answered defensively, misunderstanding the question. “What do you mean my experiences? I seen it and I thought it was disgusting. I didn’t zoom in to see if it was really him, but he admitted it was him.”

Phillips then played a clip from Cam’ron’s sports show It Is What It Is where co-host Ma$e spoke about introducing Cam to The Notorious B.I.G. early in his career.

While she asked Cam about Diddy’s treatment of Bad Boy artists, the “Down & Out” MC began drinking his Pink Horse Power sex supplement and held the jar up to the camera.

“Sorry, I’m gonna get some cheeks after this Horse Power joint,” he said, leaving Phillips stunned.

After dancing around the question and pointing out that he was never signed to Diddy, Cam’ron went off script again, asking the question that many viewers were probably wondering.

“Who’s the talent agent for this joint? You think I be sitting around watching what Diddy do?” he said. “I didn’t know that this was a Diddy joint that you invited me to. Yo, who booked me for this joint? Y’all wildin.'”

Phillips then abruptly thanked Cam’ron for coming onto the show before ending the interview.

As expected, Cam’s on-camera antics left viewers in hysterics, with one writing on X (formerly Twitter): “Yoooo cam’ron on cnn got me weak.”

Another said: “I’m like 98.7% certain that Cam’ron will never be invited to CNN again.”

A third person commented: “Cam’ron asking who booked him for that interview was a valid ass question tho. Because whomst thought that was a good idea.”

Of course, Killa Cam is no stranger to wild TV interviews. Back in 2003, he famously appeared on Bill O’Reilly’s Fox News show The O’Reilly Factor alongside Dame Dash and taunted the conversative commentator.

When a debate over rap music’s influence on American youth grew heated, Cam mocked O’Reilly by saying: “Why you don’t wanna let him talk? You mad, you mad, you mad! When did you start covering the field? I got dirt on you, doggy,” while pointing and laughing at him.

      1. Camron fans are like short bus riders and he’s the driver, they both have the mindsets and act like teenagers that’s why they think this stuff is funny. It’s so embarrassing

      2. K-thot fans are the same way. Y’all want to be seen as intellectuals, so badly, but none of y’all have a stem field degree

      3. @relax Who tf cares about midget voice Kendrick? Stay on topic, if you’re not to fried to know what the topic is anyway 😆

      4. All of you cancel culture losers are way too emotional over rappers who don’t even know you exist 🤡

    1. As a born and bred Harlem dude I have to say Cam you failed us on this interview. This was chance to voice a honest opinion but you chose that 🤡 behavior and that’s just wasn’t needed, do better fam. Carry on!!!

      1. I agree. This is why America looks at black people like clowns and get no respect.. they can’t even act appropriately in public.. way to prove this even further in national tv.. and just like someone said in the comments.. if you think this is funny and with Camron you are also part of the problem.. the funny part is thst they will read this comment and defend Camron and be too ignorant to form their own opinions lol

      2. He did give his opinion. How can you stretch a straight to the point statement from jump to 3 minutes of speaking on a dude you don’t really know. Yall weirdos

      3. Who cares what others think, the ignorant gonna feel how they feel regardless. F being accepted and patted on the back, now get out your momma basement

    2. Corny Clown. Anyone who was in “hysterics” at this should be kept at a distance. Cam’ron is a thug. An embarrassment to the race and if you fck with him? You are too.

      1. If he’s an “embarrassment to the race”, you clearly lack self esteem if he’s your barometer for being a representative of the race. Your bar is set too low. LMAO

      2. @SDE 2000 People like you have no bar. Folk like you that keep defending and making excuses for these losers are why our communities are in shambles. I said what I said. Fxck him. And fxck anyone who defends him.

      3. Say that, love to lump black folks into that’s why this and that. Nobody in they family think the same let alone someone they don’t know

      4. Where in my original post did I defend Cam’ron? Don’t worry, I’ll wait. All I told you was to get higher self esteem about yourself if you’re holding Cam as a barometer for the representative of the race. Never ever did I defend him. Learn how to comprehend instead of being long winded and doing 1 hour monologues. Reading is Fundamental!

    3. Some want to give the impression as if they are not sure if that’s Diddy and Cassie in that video footage. As if they are scared that Diddy will blackball them like he blackballed Easy Mo Bee back in the day.

    4. CNN shouldn’t have brought him on without confirming that he had any dirt on Diddy, wanted to speak about Diddy, or even knew that the interview was going to be all about Diddy. That was poor planning

      1. Can someone please remind us what Cassie is famous for again? Is she only famous because of Puff Maddy?

    5. The proof is right there for anyone to see then they still say allegedly. (Sigh!)

    6. “Wild”? No. Just acting like a non professional, childish, ignorant fool. This is why many still look at us as the court jesters.

    7. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. You played a clip of his show, so somebody researched it and you see how he acts on there, why would you think this would be different? Furthermore, it is crazy to book someone for an interview that doesn’t even really hang around the person you’re asking about. That’s like asking me about Rick Ross because I’m from Miami. Idk what that man is doing. So pressed for gossip, they couldn’t see the glaring WRONG WAY sign
