Busta Rhymes has been the recipient of some online body shaming over the years — but nobody can laugh now. On Thursday night (October 22), the Hip Hop legend shared an Instagram post with his 2.8 million followers showing off an impressive body transformation with side-by-side photos.
In the first, Busta is sporting a sizable belly and in the second, he reveals his recently rediscovered six-pack.
“DON’T EVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELF!!” he wrote in all caps. “LIFE BEGINS RIGHT NOW!!! MY DEDICATION IS DIFFERENT!! I WOULD NEVER PUT OUT AN ALBUM AND NOT BE IN THE BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE!! I RESPECT MYSELF TOO MUCH AND I RESPECT Y’ALL TOO MUCH!!! I’M ONLY HERE TO INSPIRE!!”
Bus-A-Bus also made sure to shout out his trainer Victor Munoz who, according to his Instagram page, is a celebrity trainer, diet and nutrition coach and owner of Team Pro Edge. He also thanked several other people involved in his journey to fitness.
“Thank you coach @victormunoz_proedge,” Busta added. “Thank you Legend @mrolympia08. Thank you King @kaigreene Thank you Icon @dominicandominator & @chefdeliche.”
Photos of Busta at Munoz’s gym stretch back to at least May 2019, so the 48-year-old MC has been grinding for awhile. In one photo, dated July 17, 2019, Munoz points out he’s “coming along.”
With Busta’s transformation complete, he can focus on promoting his forthcoming album Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God, which arrives on October 30. The project serves as the long awaited follow-up to 1998’s Extinction Level Event: The Final World Front.

A lot of people say Busta in general isnt the best with people and fans, posts a lot of positive messages on social media and is cordial with artists he is friends and works with but Tron sorry that happened to u man, a lot of other artists are down to earth and a lot of them come to germany and love the crowd there, respect

I ve been there. It was around 2005 or something in Pier 2. Wasn’t his best performance, but I can’t remember him being rude.
Buss was in Minneapolis during the Superbowl, I seen him in a hotel lobby. A few fan’s approached him and gave him a really nice hoodie. The guy said, ”This is my clothing company, I would be honored if you would take it.” Buss went off on the guy, talked so much degrading shyt to this guy. When the guy tried to leave he had his security stop the guy and force him to rant for like 20 mins. it was interesting to watch but it made me see Buss in a different light
