British Documentary Chronicles Public Rift Between JAY-Z & Kanye West

The U.K.’s Channel 4 plans to air a documentary detailing the public rift between JAY-Z and Kanye West titled Public Enemies: Jay-Z vs Kanye. Producer Just Blaze, storied music journalist Toure and a host of others have signed on to discuss the falling out between the two artists.

“With unseen footage and exclusive interviews, this reveals the story behind JAY- Z and Kanye West’s spectacular rise, their creative partnership and their colossal falling out,” a description on Channel 4’s website read.

Despite Hov and Ye’s working relationship, which stretches back to Ye’s contribution on The Blueprint in 2001, the two don’t seem to be on good terms as of late.

During the Saint Pablo Tour, Kanye called out JAY for not being more supportive after his wife Kim Kardashian’s Paris robbery. JAY later responded on the 4:44 track “Kill Jay Z” with several subliminal disses. More recently, Joe Budden’s co-host claimed Ye has some responses loaded during an episode of The Joe Budden Podcast.

Public Enemies: JAY-Z vs Kanye airs on Monday (July 31) at 10 p.m. in the U.K.

    1. Shut the fuck up and get back to tea bagging prince charles you fucking lame sissy ass brits and leave hiphop to the kings and birthers of it (united states) and keep your opinions to yourselfs cause there irrelevant as fuck now go back to riding your dizzy rascal scooters

      1. I agree. Channel 4 making something out of nothing. But you need to get your passport stamped bro. It’s not all stereotypes out here. U.K has got nuff love out here for real hip hop all rappers acknowledge that and last time I checked an actor from Canada is running your hip hop.

        1. He’s running YOUR hip hop. Didn’t your grime artists need his cosign btw? I seen how y’all act like a bunch of groupies when he flies there

          1. I don’t really listen to grime. I like the gritty hip hop with beats and bars. I’m more into Freddie Gibbs, roc Marciano Conway, reks etc etc and 90’s hip hop. I bet you like meek mill and crap rap like desiigner, migos etc

            1. Co sign grittier hiphop i prefer old school or just music for the streets i hate the sissy party banging music of todays hiphop and fuck drake drakes an R&B singer pretending to be a rapper on the weekends

            2. I agree I would rather have old Mobb deep on repeat all day than this New crap. Prodigy had more talent in small left toe than all these New rappers

      2. Uk hiphop has more of the original ethics and style of the culture than anything I’ve seen come out the US for 10 years. You ruined it, they kept it alive.

    2. King HOV can’t murk Ye like he did Nas, he first has to figure out a way to break up the marriage to Kim K to shut off that money. I think King HOV can figure it out though, he got that Beyonce money to back him. Too bad Nas has to sell his houses to cover his girl drama. Broke ass Nas can’t buy him a classic. 4:44 5* classic/review brought to you by SPRINT.

      1. You just sound stupid and 4:44 sucks btw. Last Jay album had Kanye on it. Everyone knows that. Keep reaching and Sprint service is horrible. Youve been excused from this convo

      2. I’d rather Nas go broke paying child support than to be known as the guy who got murdered by Eminem on his own shit.

    3. Journalist here needs to check their facts. They started working together before Blueprint. Don’t know how he could forget “This Can’t Be Life” on the Dynasty album.

    4. Kanye is his own self destruction. Jay doesn’t need to do much. Kanye West is one of my favorite artist but as far as managing abundance Jay has proven he can fly with the best of them. Jay has slapped a woman on camera, shot his brother, got his ass beat by Solange, AND cheated on BEYONCÉ with a non-Black woman. Jay survived because he has inner strength and the ability to out class negative perception.

Kanye has always had an insatiable lust for attention even when it’s not in his best interest. I can talk about his rants, his public whining when he doesn’t get his way, his attempts to appropriate the worst of white culture (confed flag, dying hair blond just to visit Trump), I mean the list can be pretty long. Kanye is a great artist but Jay appears to be a great man.

      1. Did you type all this while stroking yourself to Reasonable Doubt LOL! You sir are proof that Stan-hood is evolving…
