Boosie Badazz held the official premiere for his My Struggle biopic last week and Lil Duval called out celebrities for their lack of support. Looking for a sales boost, Boosie is reaching out to Drake to help promote his movie in the Canadian market.
“Ay Drake, I need you to tell Canada fuck with my biopic,” Boosie said in an Instagram video posted on Monday (September 27). “Go fuck with my film. Go on tell the 6 go fuck with my film. [I] know you got power. Help me out, n-gga.”
Fans can purchase Boosie Badazz’s My Struggle for $19.99 over on his website, with the behind-the-scenes cuts on sale for an extra $9.99. The biopic largely mirrors his life’s story of overcoming the odds growing up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
However, Boosie Badazz is claiming his Instagram account was suspended for asking Drake for help. The “Wipe Me Down” rapper had his account taken down in August for slapping a man in the music video to his DaBaby collaboration “Period.”
“MY IG WAS TAKEN FOR NOTHNG AGAIN,” he wrote on Twitter on Tuesday (September 28). “THEY MUST HAVE FOUND OUT I HAVE A FILM THAT IM PROMOTING. PLEASE CONTINUE TO BUY MY FILM DESPITE THIS MOVE TO STOP THE SUCESS OF MY STRUGGLE. YALL ALL I GOT AGAINST THESE POWERFUL PEOPLE. BUY IT TWICE TO BOOST MY FIRST WEEK NUMBERS THANKS.”
Last week, Lil Duval shamed the industry for not showing the same support to Boosie Badazz’s My Struggle as they did for the premiere of 50 Cent’s Black Mafia Family series on Starz.
“Every celeb you can think of was at BMF premiere,” he wrote. But at @hesbackagain2021 premiere I only saw @qcmceo_p @troublemmb and @iamdesibanks all I’m saying is we gotta support the streets the same way we support the mainstream stuff. Especially in the south. Cuz they really don’t fuck wit us they just deal wit us. #staywoke.”
Drake has yet to respond to Boosie Badazz’s request, but he’s not one to shy away from a good deed. He recently showed love to an aspiring rapper named Apollo Lofton after he waited nearly two hours outside of a Miami store to play him some of his music.

If you translate the biopic title to german it says Mein Kampf. Seems like he got inspired by the Fuhrer, suspect.
Shiiit no wonder Drake won’t promote it hahaha
Ay boosie, drake don’t wanna help your bum ass closet story bih! Lol desperate as fuck.
U r a lame come to Milwaukee with that tlk bout Boosie I bet u leave n a body gang on the hood
Boosie is my guy.. He’s hilarious and keeps it real.. I’ll support you brother… ??
This fool appeals only to the typical ghetto trash that love to perpetuate all the negative stereotypes of black men everywhere for their own selfish intentions, even though the same people love to claim up and down that we should stop spreading hate and violence of black men, which is what he glorifies for money or fame. Same old dude that ranted and talk shit about black people and black women even though he’ll immediately cry “RACIST” for getting booted off social media for this he did. The same old dude that say that “we should protect the children” even though he very loudly and proudly claimed he hired a prostitute for his son that was around 13 to 15. He and his diehard fans, fans that will gladly eat shit that he spews from his bum on the streets btw, are prime examples of numerous things very wrong with the hip hop, rap, and black community, just because he’s “real” when really he’s not since he’s a hypocrite in many very obvious ways.
Hey dumbass, this is a BIOPIC aka movie portraying his life. Keep the bs awareness rhetoric speech for ya kids!
@ Walkdog / EVERYTHING dude said was correct and stupidity by the likes of your bum ass shows what punk bitch supports a punk bitch like Poosie Badazz. It’s a biopic supporting his life and nobody wants to watch the shit LOL!
I like Boosie but the movie wasn’t that good. If he would have did it like Paid in Full or like the Wutang show, man it would have been a great film. I was really looking forward to movie but it was another I’m Bout It. Hope part two better.
