Birdman Ready To Take Tyga To Court Over “The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty”

Birdman will not be counting Tyga’s fourth studio album, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, against his contract and is ready to take the “Rack City” rapper to court if necessary, according to TMZ. The Cash Money CEO believes Tyga purposefully encouraged his fans to listen to the album for free by premiering it on Spotify.

TMZ reports that Baby did not approve of the Young Money rapper‘s decision.

Birdman is reportedly ready to take legal action against Tyga and says the “Ayo” rapper still owes Cash Money another album.

The New Orleans native feels like Tyga pulled the move in order to get out of his contract so he can sign with Lil Wayne.

The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty’s sold 2,200 physical copies, significantly less than his 2013 release, Hotel California, which sold 54,000 in its first week.

    1. lol nice move T,such a shame that a dope album like this had to be free……..birds ain’t eatin

    2. Birdman got this case on lock. Tyga had no right to sell an album under his contract with cash money. Tyga flopped hard because he alienated everyone including his fans.

    3. Tyga had the right to do that because his album was ready last October and Birdman never put it out all Tyga has to say in court his that Birdman never paid him for his albums and singles and that look at Cash Money no one gets paid and albums are never released and Tyga will win the case so Birdman your not going to win #FuckCashMoney
