Big K.R.I.T.’s upcoming mixtape, King Remembered In Time, officially has artwork. The follow-up to last year’s freebie, 4Eva N’ A Day is still without an official release date, however, K.R.I.T. used Twitter to assure fans that it was “coming soon.”

The Meridian, Mississippi emcee/producer also directed those curious to LiveMixtapes.com, which is believed to host the fourth mixtape in an acclaimed series since 2010’s KRITWuzHere, 2011’s Return Of 4eva and the aforementioned 2012 effort. This will be the Cinematic Entertainment artist’s first free project, following his Def Jam Records backed debut, Live From The Underground.

KritWuzHere and Return Of 4Eva were both distinguished winners of HipHopDX’s Mixtape Of The Year honor in 2010 and 2011, respectively.

    1. Krit always has the Craziest cover art..gonna b another timeless project from a future southern legend

    2. Cover is pimp. I feel his shit and personally like him better than any new school cat like Kendrick. I kept 4eva N A Day in the car for more 6 months. Heard he was gonna have Mike Will and others producing which I don’t like but can live with. Krit production is pretty good and it works with his style. Can’t wait for this.

      1. Yeah thats the only thing i’m worried about is the production. Thats part of what makes his mixtapes so great is the the consistent production. I’ll still check it out though because Krit has yet to let me down.

      2. while i agree with you, I find some of the excitement in the tape is seeing who K.R.I.T. collaborates with. It’s his tape so obviously even if its not his production he approved it. Should be interesting

      1. I feel you, but the album wasn’t that bad considering it was on a major label. Sure it had been watered down a little, but he had some truly amazing songs on the album.

    3. When this scrub almost quit rap, he had the right idea. There is no market for the nonsense he spews. Cop that Tyga album tomorrow. YMCMB we got the rap game by the clit. That’s why we can justify saying that we in the hood.

      1. WARNING!! TROLL ALERT!! Whoever feeds the troll by responding to him after this disclaimer is a moron. #thatisall

    4. Best Cam Site On The Net!

What makes us so different is our Genuinely Free model. The surfer is allowed to enjoy all the benefits of the site without being charged a cent, including free cams, adult chat and more! http://is.gd/bumv20

    5. Homie got the fakest fans in the game. His last/first album flopped so hard that to call this highky anticipated is an overstatement. his own fans dont support him!

      1. his last album sold a little over 100k.. not a lot, yes i know, but think about it.. he’s still hardly known in the mainstream and he doesn’t have that large of a fanbase to begin with.. so to say that his own fans don’t support him is a bit of a ridiculous statement, because i’m pretty sure that they did.. i did buy the album and i think it’s okay, i prefer the mixtapes over that, so i’m looking forward to this tape..

      2. Those are pretty good numbers for an artist that essentially still has an independent fan base, I think Def Jam gave hime the shaft and did the absolute minimal promotion they could possibly give an artist. I saw one TV spot and one video off the album, but unfortunately the labels only oush what sells at the moment, right now nonsense sells.

      3. His singles were total flops meaning nobody outside of his fanbase was drawn in, so yes the fans did support him. I know I bought it the day it was released.

    6. krit is the type of nigga that will never get a deep fanbase since there isn’t anything special about him that makes him stand out hes just bland and makes decent music.

      1. I love him, listen to him through and through, I don’t know what you’re talking about. And, I’d argue, he’s one of the few artists that has substance from the south. He knows how to be philosophical and stay pimping

      1. If you have ever listened to enough Pimp C and Big K.R.I.T., you will not even think that they are alike. People that continue to make such bullshit allegations are way off base.

      2. i’ve heard enough krit songs where he sounds like pimp to the t. I’ve been listening to pimp c since Master P I miss my homies. so i think ive heard enough pimp and krit to make the connection. if pimp never existed krit would not sound the way he does sometimes

    7. Huge Krit fan. The album was mediocore, though it did have amazing moments (The end of My Sub Part II, sick. Rich Dad, Poor Dad). The reason I can’t really be mad at the subpar label release is because he gave us amazing music FOR FREE. Why are cats complaining? Looking forward to this.

    8. If you take time to listen to Krit you will realize he is that deal but i guess yall who hating must like the new state of rap and all this b.s. thats being put out like future, french montana and all that crap. Krit be spitting some real lyrics something the game is missing rite now

    9. i said it once and ill say it again. Krit is the type of rapper that will never get any deep fans will probably allways be a sideliner at rap concerts will never be sucessfull as most other rappers. There is nothing about krit that nmakes him stand out he is like that kid in school you forget even existed.

      1. Totally disagree, he already headlined his own European Tour last year off the strength of 3 free mixtapes, doing sets at festivals now, he’s got his own sound & lane that is proving popular and by working with big artists like Wiz Khalifa, Bun B, BB King, Mike Will etc, he’s getting there.

    10. I bought 2 copies of Live from the Underground. Had to show love for the free mix tapes. “dreamin” was the first song I heard from dude. Been a fan every since. Hip hop since 81

    11. So i take it as you dont listen to him. Cause Future stands out but is he good Hell No but he is labeled as HOT and when i listen to this dude he is garbage. I am actually a fan of hip hop and i actually listen and pay attention to what is said in songs and not just the beat

    12. is there a tracklist for this anywhere? the 10th feel soo far away guess ill smoke myself in a 2 day coma till then

    13. Real hip-hop can be played over and over again. When the “shoot em up” shit gets old I always go back to KRIT and it never gets old. THAT IS REAL MUSIC!!!!

    14. “krit is the type of nigga that will never get a deep fanbase since there isn’t anything special about him that makes him stand out hes just bland and makes decent music”

      ^ that’s the problem

fanatics like you looking for flashing lights and glitter to go along with the WWE persona instead of appreciating the skills. Stevie Wonder would have never had a chance if y’all sheep were around then.

    15. The only reason his album wasn’t as good as his mixtapes is politics…plain and simple. He can really do what he wants to do on his mixtapes without a label to stop him. This mixtape will be CRACK!! Watch….

    16. the cover looks dope as hell…krit that dude rappers dont even put time into their covers or music anymore

    17. This mixtape should be called Ja Rule Remembered In Time because my nigga Jeffrey fathered these niggas.

      1. Only One ain’t that bad until DZA fucks up all over the beat. Nigga just stumbled all through that shit.

    19. I was worried when K.R.I.T. said that he was letting other people produce for him, but I’m glad to see that he handled the majority of the production on this tape. Always good to hear new shit from K.R.I.T.

    20. Alright. you shit head motherfuckers better stop right now. First off. I created big K.r.i.t. In fact if it was not for the J.u.s.t.i.c.e League big K.r.i.t would not exist..We are the one’s that got this black nigga his start. You better check the history my nigga. I mean just look at his name and our name. So the next time you listen to this black nigga, think about me. COLIONE MY NIGGA. I’M A MUTHAFUCKIN GOD. In fact i am god. So you need to get on your fuckin kneee’s and pray to us. The J.u.s.t.i.c.e League are forever. Why the fuck do you think I got it tatted on my hand. I know we are the best producers in the game. Were better than Dre, Timbaland, Pharrell, Kanye west, Just Blaze. or any other producer you can think of. BOW TO US NIGGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    21. @Colione, no sir, you are just a mere man, sorry to burst your bubble. Did you create the earth? did u die on the cross? NO! stop blaspheming, you are just a peon!

    22. this dude never dissapoints, on point lyrics, nice production and nice flow + voice, legend in the making

    23. I have a feeling this will stay in the Cd player for a minute. Trunk be ridin’. So glad that 90% of the mixtape is all by him. This should have been an album. I always said he reminds me of Andre 3000 and Pimp C mix together.

    24. K.R.I.T. just keeps on giving out free albums, dude deserves more recognition. Dopest rapper out there right now.

      4eva N A Day.

    25. this is a real southern rapper that actually has talent unlike that pop faggot BOB calling him self a rapper when he is complete pop garbage.

      1. You should check out B.O.B’s early mixtapes, shits are crazy my du..BOB can snap but he’s being a puppet

      1. He has more freedom on his tapes. He can sample freely on his mixtapes where as his album he wasnt allowed to sample because of the cost so he produced every single track on that album from scratch using live instruments and playin them perfecting each beat.

      2. Lol. Sampling is not only easier but its the the production style KRIT has used for a long time and got successful with changing that style will obviously affect some of the quality of your music because its something your new to.

      1. buy the album next time it comes out to show support.

live from the underground was mediocre, but i bought that shit anyway because his mixtapes were albums i wouldve paid for if they werent free.

i wish hed put a donate link on the site next to the downloads and release exlusively yhere. id throw down a few bucks for all of them

      1. What do you want him to do? Make fag rock like Wayne? Or candy pop rap like drake? Or fake coke rap like Ross? KRIT ain’t for everyone, why don’t you go listen to that Pop shit, and leave the real hip hop, for the real n!ggaz.

    26. Theres no need for Krit to go in to Outer Space raps and shit like most rappers are starting to do no a days or rap about shit he aint doing, theres no gimmicks with KRIT…he stays in his on Lane like a King is suppose too…truly a KING REMEMBERED IN TIME! by the way some Classic work Krit

    27. I damn near shit myself when i heard ” Life Is a Gamble”, 9th wonder made an instant classic with that one, Thank You K.R.I.T. for the only true consistancy in hip hop these days.

    28. ayo, KRIT’s mixtape aint a classic b its more one star short of a masterpiece-claimin this tape go hard be a damn tragedy nahmean. this niggas tape is more of a photo album you accidentally find in ya moms crib on a sunday afternoon nahmean, and every picture you go through the sun in-word is bond

    29. damn after reading the posts below then listening tonight…. very disappointed.

love kirt on R4 and LFTU but “cmon shawty”…. this is just not on par. love most of the production but the mood/tone and lyrics/flow are just not there this time around. still love u doe krit

      1. LOL! Really? I think this is better than Live from The Underground, then again, I think LFTU is the weakest of all his projects unfortunately…this one though? He’s running past Kanye for best soul beats producer in the game..

      1. Is it because mixtapes more often than not have rappers showcase talent, where albums take away the artists creative control and are manufactured to have a mass appeal to make money from fans. Mixtapes are usually a rapper and a DJ doing what they want, where albums just have to have hits and tracks that a label has to predict whether or not it will be popular before it’s released.

    30. i needed this from krit…going thu alot right now….

“this aint no hip hop records…these county rap tunes
and u can separate us from the rest like i told ya the last time”
      -Pimp C

    31. Im mad cuz Big K.R.I.T. and Kendrick Gayer wanna destroy real hip hop. Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj’s classic albums saved hip hop but deze new rappers wanna destroy YMCMB’s legacy. Lil Wayne and Drake resurrected Old School and Golden Age hip hop. dey are da mos lyrical rappers ever. but niggaz like KRIT, Kendrick and Freddie Gibbs are da Vanilla Ices of diz generation. swag

      1. You are definitely gotta be joking or a Crack baby of this new generation. Big KRIT and Kendrick Lamar and Freddie are the Truth.

    32. the fact that this man has delivered a shit load of lyrical and especially production gems makes all of you fake k.r.i.t fans the hoes and smuts he spokes over in his lyrics. consistency is what this mixtape displays and couldn’t asked for more real music, real soul, real lyrics….it’s hip-hop bitches for ya mtv smuts

    33. Definitely has a place in his soulful, inspirational catalog. I swear I looked at the comments on this post and thought the ones claiming the mixtape was underwhelming were truth until I listened. Found a few gems here, as far as Big KRIT’s music goes. To those who support him, you can always visit the website and buy the mixtape. He’ll also be performing at the Broccoli City Festival Sunday. Peace.

    34. This shoulda been Krit’s second studio joint. Damn I want this guy to succeed…Him and J. Cole did similar numbers with their debuts, only difference is there wasn’t no workout song on Krit’s joint…I like Cole but Krit is like hip hop salvation…Haters better hope he don’t take off cuz if he does rap belongs to the south still and forever

    35. This nigga overhyped as hell…Like Cole and kendrick.I hate this new age singy ass bullshit “Soul Rap”
