Big Boi Drops New Solo Album “Boomiverse”

Fans may never get to hear another Outkast album, but Big Boi is making sure listeners are still getting fresh music from one half of the duo. The Atlanta legend is back with a new solo album titled Boomiverse.

Boomiverse is Big Boi’s third solo album and his first project since 2015’s Big Grams LP with Phantogram. Daddy Fat Sax’s latest work is comprised of 12 tracks with production handled by Organized Noize, TM88, DJ Dahi, DJ Khalil and Cory Mo among others. Killer Mike, Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Curren$y, Sleepy Brown and the late Pimp C make guest appearances on the project.

The more conspicuous half of Outkast, Big Boi, is back with the tracklist and cover art for his highly-anticipated album, Boomiverse. The 12-track project serves as the Southern MC’s third solo LP, and features the star power of Snoop Dogg, Gucci Mane, the late Pimp C, Run The Jewels’ powerhouse Killer Mike, Kurupt, Jeezy, Sleepy Brown and Curren$y.

Previously released singles include “Kill Jill” with Killer Mike and Jeezy, which was just given the visual treatment on Friday (June 2), and “Mic Jack,” which dropped in April.

Gucci Mane’s involvement in the project caused some confusion last year when he claimed he had written a verse for Outkast. It turns out, the verse in question was for Boomiverse, which Big Boi confirmed in December.

Boomiverse acts as Part 1 to a double album, although no information on Part 2 has surfaced as of yet. Boomiverse is expected to arrive on June 16. Check out the cover art and tracklist below.

      1. Big Boi one of the best spitters in the game not to mention a legit producer and DJ. What can you do? Talk shit on the interwebs???

          1. Yes him and Dre started producing on atliens organized noise only produced two joints on there

    1. listening to the heat that Big Boi drops on the regular just makes me fxckin sad. Really 3K? I can’t even get a quick 16 on this album? We need another Outkast album. Need. It would be good for humanity. I bet less terrorism would happen in England if 3K would drop some heat for their ears.

    2. Great Album maybe best out of the 3 solo not including Speakerboxx. Underated never appreciated. By the way he evolves he was the brain of Outkast that is pretty clear.
