Alchemist Says No One Could Out Rap Eminem In A Battle

Alchemist has etched his name out as one of the best producers in Hip Hop consistently over the past two decades. He’s also been known to be able to spit a little bit himself.

Recently sitting down with Vlad TV, Al talked about battle rap as he has been known to be a fan of the lyrical sport. He was also asked about the possibility of Eminem participating in a battle and says no one could contend with him in that realm.

“I couldn’t think of anyone on the Earth that I would put in front of Eminem that could out rap him. I’ll say that much,” he said when asked about Eminem and Slaughterhouse’s chances against opponents in the current battle rap scene. “You can’t put Em in anything. He’s above all that. You don’t even ask that. I don’t know man.”

The producer, who has made numerous classic records with the likes of Mobb Deep, Action Bronson and others, was also asked whether battle rappers also have the ability to make hit records.

“You never know what’s in anyone’s cards,” he replied. “Just because you battle rap doesn’t mean you can’t make a hit record or make classic albums.”

Alchemist also noted who he would like to see battle the most if he were to set up a show. Al says a Mr. Cheeks battle against Smack Battle favorite Un Kasa would be his top choice.

      1. Everybody knows eminem compensates for his lack of original content and punchlines that shined on MMLP & SSLP, by speeding up his flow and using an angry delivery which just shows he’s trying way too hard.

    1. My boy was saying Kendrick could give Em t hat work, but I’m like nah not even him. No one can step in front of that man and actually win. Some can come close but…

    2. i guess this nigga aint never heard of a spitta by the name of……..Kirko Bangz? that nigga would murder Em

    3. black people about to riot on this blog.. they get madder than southern hillbillies fucking a black guy when white people mention the like eminem as one of the greats.

    4. It’s alot of the underground cats that would murder Em in a freestyle battle and to be honest he isn’t a good freestyler he’s written shit sounds better…Em is good but he can be touched best believe that his own label signee Crooked I will murder that ass all day everyday and I dare a fool to disagree

    5. Prevail from Swollen Members is the best freestyler of all time period. If not him, one of those Project Blowed guys for sure.

    6. It all depends what you call “Out rapping” if that means doing stuff like rap god with a consistent hyper speed flow, then yea he’s defiantly at the upper echelon, but then you have to bring up twista and busta rhymes, but if it comes to wordplay, content and punchlines, people like Kendrick, Jay, Nas, and etc can defiantly beat him. Especially Nas the man created the term ETHERED!

      1. Not really..bone tech and busta do it better and got melody…em sounding like immortal technique with that bullshit flow

    7. Everybody knows that nobody can beat Em in a battle deep down but a lot of people don’t like it so won’t admit it Em was born with that gift

      1. You’re a fan. Stop lying. Everybody that says that always says “I’m not a fan of..” but then co-signs them.

    8. Ludacris. It Would Be A Draw Face It Ya Know It.It’s The Truth, Why They Just Seem To Avoid Wanting To Collaborate With Each Other,C’Mon Man.

    9. Juice beat Eminem TWICE.
Al is kissing Em’s ass for sure. You can’t say “no one” and you don’t even know every rapper to pick up a mic. That just shows some serious ass-kissing.

      1. Thanks for letting fools know.
        Juice flowed Em twice.
Fuck all the hoopla about Em being unbeatable in a battle.

    10. Hollow Da Don, Pat Stay, Tsu Surf, Tay Roc, these guys are the beasts of modern battle rap. Just YT any of their clashes. I’m not saying they could beat Em but they would give him a really good run for his money.

    11. Juice, got Em when He wasnt even pure yet. Like AL said, no one, messing with that man on the MIC. N no im not a white fan, just loving em,im a black hiphop head, who loves Dila, DeLaSoul, Ice Cube, Pac etc etc.. too me, EM took over the game when he entered it. Soon as he left them Disney kids alone and start killing Hip Hop MC’s it was a wrap ..

    12. In 1997 rapper Otherwise beat Eminem for the rap Olympics in LA right before shady hot signed to Dre. Rumors out there about Eyedea taking it to Em too. Shady has gone mutant since then. He is a beast listen to GOAT.

    13. maybe old Eminem but this new rappity rap squeeze as many words into a line flow he been using is fuckin horrible tbh

    14. “Just because you can make hit records & classic albums doesn’t mean you can battle rap.”

    15. Em has admitted many times that Proof was UNTOUCHABLE in a rap battle. Sure he got offed, but Proof would body Em n he even know that himself. KING OF DETROIT!!! RIP BIG PROOF

    16. Alchemist is Eminem’s tour DJ. he’s around to hear him spit off the top & freestyle, probably as recent as last week. you guys are nowhere to be found, that’s why your remarks are stale & outdated and don’t match up to Al’s statement.

    17. No1 could beat eminem! Not a chance hes 2 good hes 2 intellegent other rapoers wouldnt ubderstand the big words he can ryme! Untouchable! Dre knew this or he would have sighned the best. Shady #1

    18. I think Lupe fiasco would body eminem no question, watch his freestyles on YouTube and you’ll see what I mean, also check mural, prisoner 1&2, SLR 1-3 (super Lupe rap). The man is underated and underappreciated

    19. Where has Alchemist been? Juice and Rhymefest both demolished Eminem in battle already…Lol

    20. Id put pharoah monch up against anyone…this dude drops nothing but classics..bars sound like he took 20 yrs year to write em on some master kong shit…al my dude but this nigga was high

    21. I’m not sure Em would really be up to freestyle battling anymore, he hasn’t been in that mindset for years. However in a pre-written back and forth on wax, I agree he would slay most rappers out there. Not to say he would be invincible, he has lost battles in the past.

      1. Exactly. Dude was never that strong straight-off-the-dome. Just ask Rhymefest.

A battle of writtens, however, is an entirely different story.

      1. except that wasn’t 100% freestyle, in the off the top kind of way. YOu can tell because on a few parts of the ‘freestyle’ he stops and acknowledges he just made that part up.

Tired of cats claiming freestyle when it’s written raps.

    22. That is sad because everybody who knows eminem knows that he learned rapping in 1999 to 2000 with Dr.Dre and that in now would be no Problem for him do do it with juice look at his rardio freestyles and the one for Shady XV and he learned much much more since then think before talking learned rapping 1999 with Dr.Dre the juice battle is Form 1997 !!!
