50 Cent Reveals Eminem Turned Down Joint Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg Tour

50 Cent recently stopped by Big Boy’s Neighborhood as part of his press run. During the conversation, he revealed Eminem once passed on a massive tour featuring Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.

When Fiddy was asked about his relationship with Eminem — who integral in 50’s rise to notoriety — he recalled the missed opportunity. He explained Em was concerned about missing out on his daughter Hailie’s life.

“You do not believe how much money we would’ve made,” he said around the 30:00-minute mark . “And Em was like — there was so many dates at the time the way they laid it out — that he was like, ‘I just don’t want to go on tour and come back and Hailie’s grown.'”

50 added the initial plan included a “ridiculous amount of dates.” In fact, he said the run would have grossed so much money that “when you come back, everyone has the money that no one has to answer the phone.”

Big Boy pressed him for the amount and he finally admitted the tour was worth “collectively, over $100 million.”

Elsewhere in the nearly 60-minute interview, the Power mogul talks about the “Big Rich Town” backlash, his social media antics and, of course, Rick Ross.

    1. I would have have turned it down too.. Eminem does not have the westcoast sound he would have stuck out like a sore thumb

      1. I guess you never saw the Up In Smoke Tour which was stacked with west coast Emcees: Westside Connectilon, Snoop, Xzibit, etc…& Em…one of the biggest rap tours ever. ?

      2. I guess you haven’t heard Eminem on west coast beats before, or maybe you forgot. Either way you need to stop commenting for now.

    2. The tour should have still happened. Em could have been replaced with Kendrick and I’m good. Dre, Snoop, 50 and G-Unit, and Kendrick and TDE is fire.

    3. Good for him putting his daughter first. Sometimes you have to do what’s right for your family even if that means letting other people down.

      1. He could have brought his daughter along.
with the right accomodations. He’s a rich magastar. But these guys are all just a bunch of rich idiots.

        1. But the priority is to provide his daughter with as stable a life as he could, and having a child on tour is not exactly healthy. Plus it depends when the tour was, if it was a summer-no school thing it’s more reasonable. But with the amount of dates, it probably run too long for that.

    4. Tour would’ve been a hit without Em, probably more so. Name me a rapper whose flow suits the West Coast sound worse than Em, I’ll wait. And what does Em not going have to do with Fif? Must’ve been a +1 situation LOL.

    5. To Old Head
First and most important it wasnt going to be an west coast only tour so his flow wouldnt had mattered. Second and maybe just as important yes the tour had enough star power to be a success financially but with Em touring as well his presence would of made it a bigger financial impact. No one in the game at that period of time had the white crowd in a tighter joke hold than Em. Whichs means every show would of been sold out!

    6. Well. That’s the difference between Em and 50. Em wants to be involved with his kids. Huge decision but one with NO regrets. No paycheck could ever replace raising ones kid properly. Not a Stan, nor a huge fan, but will give props when it’s due. Way to go Em!!!

    7. Great decision on em part ! All fifty care about is the money! Next em has made alot of money in the rap game so of course he would have turned the money down. Then the tour would have made 100 million between 15 dudes really not alot of money once split. They needed em more than em needed them

    8. M is straight garbage! Please retire now. He is a pop star not a hip hop artist. M will never do another hip hop album again. The pop fans wouldn’t buy it.
